- Deals Today for Prime Members
Today is their Prime Day, where hundreds of items are on sale for Amazon Prime members only.
is $99 per year, and has a free 1-month trial for new members.
Some deals worth mentioning, that are only available for Prime members.
Some deals are only available for 1-4 hours, and may expire soon after this posting.
Insta Pot IP-DUO60 6qt Pressure Cooker for $70 with Prime only.
We purchased it for the same price when it was on sale during Black Friday last year, and love it.
We call it our "kitchen robot" since healthy food can be made super easy.
Brown rice and potatoes cook in one-third the time, and soups taste incredible.
If you want to get more into healthy cooking, I cannot recommend anything better than this (except maybe the Bluetooth/App version which costs a bit more).
(Expired)Asus RT-N12 Wireless Router for $20.
Normally at least $28.
We had a more expensive Asus router (model RT-N66U) which broke in a month.
(Expired)TP-Link 5-Port Gigabit Managed Switch for $23.
Sometimes on sale for $25, normally sold for $30.
We have one, and it works fairly well.
Can log in to the switch with downloadable software, view network statistics, and do basic management features like forcing ports to certain speeds.
Gunnar Optiks Computer Glasses for $40 to $45.
We used one for a while, and it does help prevent eyestrain (headaches) when staring at a bright screen for long periods of time.
However it alone is not fully effective.
Only frequent breaks, eye exercises, low screen brightness and lots of ambient light can truly prevent eyestrain.
Kmashi 10,000mAh Portable Battery Charger for $11.
Weighs 0.6 pounds.
Reviews say it does not have pass-through charging, so it cannot charge your devices while its internal battery is charging.
This is a big downside, in our opinion.
This was last on sale for $130 during last Black Friday, and is back on sale again for $140.
Normally sells for $205.
You can program and monitor the cooking from their smartphone app.
We love our Instant Pot pressure cooker, and is our most frequently used kitchen appliance.
We call it the "kitchen robot" since it makes food so easily and quickly.
Healthy, tasty rice, soup, potatoes, and beans cook in one-third to one-half the time.
- Instant Pot Programmable Pressure Cooker for $68
Instant Pot Programmable Pressure Cooker (model IP-LUX50) for $68 today.
Normally sells for about $85.
This one hold 5 quarts, which can cook soup/stew for 4 people or potatoes for 3 people.
A pressure cooker can make great tasting soup, potatoes, beans, brown rice, gravy, and hard boiled eggs in half of normal time.
Rather than just using heat, the Instant Pot uses pressure to cook through your food.
We have the Instant Pot IP-DUO60 (a 6qt version), and love it.
We call it our "kitchen robot".
Soup has never tasted better.
Sweet potatoes and brown rice taste amazing after just 20-30 minutes, and are never sticky or under-cooked despite taking half the time if cooked on the stove or oven.
