Western Digital WD10EACS 1TB (1000 GB) Serial-ATA Hard Drive is on sale today for $100 with free shipping. However, this is not a standard 7200rpm speed drive, so it is probably best used for file storage, movies, music, and backups, and probably not the best choice for an operating system primary drive.

A great price at $0.10 per GB, but if you are looking for a better performing drive also at $0.10/GB, a Seagate 1.5TB Hard Drive bundled with a free router or 8GB Flash Drive for $150.

A "portable" 2.5" USB hard drive like this is smaller than a standard USB hard drive, easy to carry and tuck inside a laptop computer bag, and powers through a USB cable so no power cable to carry with it. It has good reviews, but all portable USB drives can be a little slow, taking 1.5 hours to transfer each 100GB.
