Zyxel (WAP3205v2) Wireless Access Point for $50 with free shipping, and code EMCKKNR42 applies $30 off.
The reviews are quite positive.
This is an "Access Point", which is the same thing as a "Router" except it has NAT (Network Address Translation), the mechanism that links your home network with the Internet.
An Access Point is simply just a wireless hot spot, so you still need a router at your home to access the Internet from your devices.
Access Points are useful, because they can be configured as:
A Wifi Access Point, extending your Wifi range,
A Wifi Repeater, wirelessly extending your Wifi signal, or
A Wifi client, connecting a computer to a Wifi network that does not have a built-in Wifi antenna.
This and other similar Wifi access points usually sell for at least $35.

8GB Laptop PC Memory: Simgle G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CAS-9 1.35volt SO-DIMM Memory Module for $35.
This is the first time we have seen this high-quality memory sold for under $37, and the $35 price is cheaper than buying this memory in a pair.
If your laptop or mini-PC takes 8GB DDR3 memory per SO-DIMM slot, this is probably the best deal you can find.
To see if your laptop can handle this 8GB memory, look it up on CDW.com's Kingston memory search.
Enter your laptop's make and model, then see if it supports 8GB SODIMM per socket, and how many sockets it has.
Here is our screenshot showing our Thinkpad X230 Tablet with 2 removable sockets, supporting up to 8GB SO-DIMM per socket for a total of 16GB of memory.
Our pair of G.Skill 8GB CAS-9 1.35volt SO-DIMMs work well, and seem to run cooler than other memory.
G.Skill 32GB Secure Digital (SDHC) Memory Card for $9.09 with code EMCKCKA79 .
This is one of the best deals we have seen for a high quality 32GB SD card.
SD cards are commonly used in digital cameras.
Ours work well for taking photos, and transfer to computers quickly.
Other similar quality 32GB SD cards usually sell for at least $13.
Orico 4-port USB Charger for mobile devices for $8 with code EMCKCKA72 .
While we do like ours, its weight causes the charger to occasionally fall off of the wall socket.
When used with a surge protector or resting on a surface, it works well without any issues.
Both support hardware encryption, which is important for most laptops.
Simply set up a hard disk (or SATA) password in your bootup BIOS, and your laptop's data will be encrypted from thieves.
Many other SSDs can be found cheaper, but do not have built-in hardware encryption.
Non-hardware encryption (software based) can lower your system performance and is less secure.
Looking to buy a laptop computer?
Search Ebay for used or refurbished laptop computers, to find a lot on sale right now for around $200 to $400 with 3rd generation (or better) Intel processors.
Some of those do have touch screens, but you would need to look at the specs before buying.
Look at the condition of a used/refurbished laptop, since some may have damage, scratches, or broken/missing parts.
Google for the laptop's owner's manual, and find instructions on how to replace its memory and hard drive.
Some laptops, like Apple laptops and some convertible laptop/tablet computers, are difficult (or impossible) to replace a hard drive with an SSD.
If you cannot upgrade a used laptop, its longevity may be short.
Does the laptop's battery carry a good charge, and can it be replaced?
Most laptop batteries will be dead in 2-3 years, and replacements (if possible) can cost $30 to $90 depending on the model.
Factor a replacement battery into the cost of buying a 2-3 year old laptop.
What CPU is inside the laptop, and how does its CPU score compare to your old laptop on CPUBenchmark.Net?
Read the seller's reputation history.
Depending on the laptop you have, it often takes is a screwdriver and 15 minutes time to upgrade its drive to an SSD, which can improve the laptop's performance by about 4 times.
Add a couple hours to transfer files from your old hard drive, and re-install (or upgrade) your operating system.
- Asus Wireless Router $60
Asus RT-AC52U Dual-Band Wireless Router for $60 with code 1027SVFRS106 and a $10 Prepaid Card is available by mail-in rebate.

- Intel 730-Series 240GB SSD $130 (expired: sold out from Amazon, but available at Newegg)
A third-party vendor on Amazon is selling an Intel 730-Series 240GB Solid State Drive for $124 today.
It usually sells for around $150.
This is a great hard drive for laptops.
Not only is this SSD extremely durable and reliable, but it includes a 5-year warranty and has built-in hardware encryption (full specs).
If you go into your laptop's bootup BIOS configuration, look under the SATA hard drive configuration, see if a "hard drive password" feature or "disk encryption" (or similar name) are available.
If you set a disk password, this should enable full hardware encryption for your SSD.
If your laptop is stolen, your data stored on the SSD is encrypted and secure even if they remove the drive and try to access it from another computer.
Also, Amazon is selling a Seagate 2TB Hard Drive this morning for $68.38.

This particular memory has a CAS latency of 9, a couple ticks faster than the CAS 11 specification on most laptop memory.
As explained on Toms Hardware and Wikipedia, memory with a lower CAS number means the memory responds quicker, thus a lower number can improve computer performance by a little bit.
Before upgrading your laptop, be sure it supports 4GB DDR3 or 8GB DDR3 per module port.
The easiest way to check for compatibility is to use the Crucial Memory Advisor.
Enter your laptop's make and model, then look on the left side of the page to see the slots and maximum memory of your laptop.
If your laptop has 2 slots and max 16,384MB (16GB) of memory, then it supports modules up to 8GB per slot.
If your laptop has 2 slots and max 8,192MB (8GB) of memory, then it supports modules up to 4GB per slot.
A small screwdriver is required to open and upgrade a laptop's memory, and your owner's manual should provide instructions.

We know some people swear by Crucial SSDs, including in reliable server builds, and will never use another brand.
We had a poor experience with an original Crucial SSD first introduced in 2010, and since found Samsung and Intel more stable inside our laptop computers.
However, look at the reviews of this new Crucial MX200 on Amazon and Newegg and you can see happy customers.
Despite our own negative experience with an old Crucial SSD, we can feel comfortable recommending this deal based on overwhelmingly positive user reviews and feedback from friends who use this brand of SSD inside their servers.
