Details:Intel Core i7-6700K System Upgrade Kit for $460
If you are looking to upgrade your old PC to a brand new 6th generation Intel CPU with DDR4 memory, this looks like a great deal. The bundle includes
  • An Intel Core i7-6700K Quad-Core 4GHz CPU
  • An MSI Z170A LGA-1151 ATX Motherboard (with 3 PCIe x16 slots and 3 USB3.1 ports and 6 SATA drive ports)
  • A 2-pack of Geil 8GB DDR4 2400MHz Memory (16GB total)
You'll need a desktop PC with an ATX-compatible motherboard, or buy yourself a new PC case with power supply. Here is a video on how to replace a PC motherboard, which required a phillips-head screwdriver and some patience (about 1-2 hours unplug & remove all the old hardware and install the new).

Anyone looking to upgrade to the new Intel CPU into a tower PC might want to consider using an upgraded CPU fan, rather than the Intel fan that comes with the CPU. We have two of the Enermax T40F-RF CPU fans, and like how they keep the CPU cool and the fan does not touch the RAM modules that install so close to the CPU. Here is an Enermax install video (shows how to install 2 fans at once, but only 1 is needed). A third-party CPU fan like this will use a bracket on both sides of the motherboard to keep it firmly in place even when the PC is bumped.
