Details: | ICE On Your Phone Could Save Your Life: Paramedics are turning to a victim's cell phone for clues to that person's identity. You can make their jobs much easier with a simple idea that everyone should adpot. Add an entry in the contacts list of your cell phone under ICE with the name and phone number of a person that emergency services should contact on your behalf. You can save them a lot of time and have loved ones contacted quickly. Your emergency contact (a close friend or family member) can tell the paramedics about any medical conditions and allergies you may have, which can be critical information in saving your life. ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. Peramedics know what ICE means and they look for it immediately. It only takes a few seconds to add an ICE entry into your phone's contact list, and it could save your life sometime. For more information, see news articles. |
