[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg this Lego set was so much fun to build. We took it all out and got the instructions out put the numbered sets out in order. Him and I split it so we built together. It wasn't difficult putting the pieces together. Just time consuming in a good way. Get all excited to see what you building and keep going. It all comes together. Loved taking the limo around the town with the corn figure waving you on. Running in the square with the lights twinkling and the statue staring. The tram was super fun playing with. Fitting the figures in and going around and around. Eating at the burger joint was yummy. Landing the helicopter and chasing the bad guy!!! I was told we have to add on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The helicopter comes with a little net, the concert has stage lighting and a blue haired singer on stage, even the city diner burger restaurant has little burgers for stools! Truly wonderful details from trees to statues and lights. LOTS of build time for this set. Easy instructions, all the pieces are always there! Take it one bag at a time :)

Amazing lego main square

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay this is awesome. My six year old and myself made this. This set has a ton of different building and vehicles to build. Basically a whole town square set up. The pieces were pretty easy to make. The instructions were clear tho the way the books are numbered are kind of confusing. Comes with extra pieces if you need.

Pretty cool

The set over all is pretty cool, it is lacking (in my opinion ) some key elements for fun. 
No road plates or even a base plate comes with this set, (that made me sad) also what ever happened to kick stands for the motorbikes? all my newer sets, none of them come with kick stands and all the motorbikes don't stay up. 
Finally my comment in general about the newer sets are , Lego your trying too hard to make special pieces, go back to classic style buildings ones that lock into place by smaller bricks and get rid of all these 1x2 at 4 high, the walls don't hold and buildings fall apart when played with..

pretty cool, but lacking.

This was a decent set, although it could use some improvement. First of all, it would be nice if something connected it, like roads. Also it would be nice if the “City Diner” was somewhat bigger and fit more than 2 people at a time. There a few other things here in there but overall this was a nice set.

Decent set, could use some fixes

This set is nice and very kid friendly. It adds to a city just fine. The tram is okay and easily mods to work with the old monorail system which many were hoping for when it was announced. The biggest issue I have is the “city line tax”. If you compare city line to other lines, such as theFriends line, there is a huge difference in price when similar sets are compared. Even licenced themes are better priced. I'd prefer more smaller sets than one big one. 

For it's playability, the niece and nephews like having more city things to play with. I don't care for the named figs or tv show, just lower priced line would be better.

You want how much????

Why are there so many things that don't connect to other things? There is a train and a town hall and why is there always a helicopter? Also, why would the fire department come to get a cat on top of a building? Not even in a fire truck! there is a helicopter and a mini fire truck! You do not need both of those things to get a cat.

I don't like this.

I'm deeply disappointed in the main square kit. It is so unfairly priced that it leaves me breathless and almost in a comatose state . Why must you overcharge so much especially in these stressful times? The world needs LEGO now more than ever, where's your compassion?

Main Square

It seems like you get a lot here BUT really, it's just bunch of little stuff. I'd rather see focus one thing at a time than just a lot of “stuff” that is mediocre

Boring

The set is nice, and trams are always fun, but we've gotten several town square/center sets with trans and better buildings in the past. As someone who purchase a lot of LEGO and is always expanding my city, the price point for this set was way off for the product.
