Subject: staples.com banned list

maniac:

yes, they do have a banned list. my brother received a direct email from
them stating that he was placed on the list a few years ago--that was back
when people were using dividend coupons and people were getting $300 off
$300. he made out with some palm Vs and a few desks for free. anyways, now
when he orders, he just uses his first initial and last name, ships to the
same address with a slightly modified appearance (you can search your zip
code at www.usps.com to find legal alternative city names), and uses a
totally different credit card and email. here is an example:

First Last
567 N 1st St #4
City, ST 00000
Visa: some number
email@server.com

becomes

F Last
567 North First Street Apt 4
Town, ST 00000-0000 (make sure you get the zip+4 to insure proper delivery)
MC: another number
email@different.com

it is not that smart a database finder you know =)

ps: it is totally legit to use different city names: my zip code 90007 is
both Los Angeles and Dockweiler Station, both are acceptable. my brother's
really weird: 92656 can be Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, or
Aliso Viejo. look up your zip code here:
